This is crazy! Despite all the best intentions of the merry band of web astrologers that I regularly seek to rationalise why things get crazy, I have succumbed to the moon in leo grumps, and inside of my calm work demeanor, I am stomping around and champing at the bit. E.G.

1. I arrived at work 1 hour later than I planned!
2. My timetable is out by 45 minutes!
3. I wrote a journal post this morning before leaving the house, succumbed to a whim to crosspost without having set anything up, and lost the lot!
4. All of this considering, I feel entirely justified in brandishing Luna Lovegood's Magnificent Mane.

5. There. I'm feeling much better, thank you.

Ganked from [personal profile] owlmoose  on a search for portal fans, and to practice new words, eg 'gank'.

If you read this, leave me a one-word comment about your day that starts with the third letter of your USERNAME. Only one word please. Then repost so I can leave a word for you.

Alert. this is a draft. I will return to it on the weekend and finess...

The Hogfather - actually, I loved it. But it really made me think about the relationship of good/evil and ugly/beautiful, or atleast, feel uneasy about. However the whole production did a very good job of naturalising skeletons to me, which have horrified me for a very long time.

The sight of Death, a skeleton in a hooded cloak, humbly eating a biscuit, and then proffering a card with calligraphy runny from the melted snow applied and crumbled and adorned with feathers from the robin that refused to adhere to the card was endearing, and something I continue to chuckle over. And this:

"Why did you wink at me? Did you actually even have a plan?"
"Yes! my plan was to see what you were going to do."

"Find the nearest book to you, turn to page 45, and read the first sentence: this describes your sex life in 2012."

simmer, uncovered, for 20 minutes

hmm, make of that what you will. technically it's a fragment, the first real sentence doesn't come along until page 47:

Grains are inexpensive, nourishing and satisfying.

this was from Nourish, food by Holly Davis (of Iku Whole Foods fame).  excellent book, fairly macrobiotic, good for pickles, gluten free foods, and often Japanese influenced.

Alrighty, so... quickly just now since I'm trying to work out the end of portal 2, here is the biginnine, again, towards some sort of online journal. This time, perhaps, I shall regularly review, and post!

Please be warned, there may be a higher incidence of inanity involved. It helps me get through the day.
